Hello, I am Juanito. I am a software engineer and I’ve been working as a software engineer in web development field since 2011. I’m currently working at Buildkite (since 2020). Previously, I worked at many other Ruby/Rails shops, companies like Shopify and Cookpad.
I take pride in my craft and strive for a ferocious work ethic with meticulous attention to detail. I try to be kind to others—and I’m learning to extend that same kindness to myself. I’m a Rubyist who enjoys working with interesting scalibility problems. I like Open Source, web performance, and PostgreSQL. Outside of work, I’m into photography—especially photographing sushi.
In recent years, I’ve become very introverted. I’m not up for meeting with anyone—please don’t try to reach out. After spending the past decade living for others—now, I want to live this life for myself.
